We are seeking a dynamic team leader to work in one of our homes.

Requirements needed.
You will hold an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health and social care and above and is willing to work towards Level 4.
You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working with this client group and will be expected to attend and complete any mandatory and specialist training in line with the organisation’s policy and procedures.
Ideally hold a clean driving license.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is reliable and trustworthy
- Is able to take constructive criticism and willing to learn
- Is assertive and able to implement boundaries specific to the young person’s needs and company policies
- Has a current DBS (or is prepared to undertake one)
- Has training certificates (Safeguarding, First Aid, Health and Food Safety etc.) or is prepared to complete required ones before starting
- Has excellent communication and written skills to work with colleagues, parents and produce clear, concise reports
- To be part of the out of hours team
- Who can supervise and provide guidance for less experienced staff
- Deputise in the manager’s absence.

The position of Deputy team manager is very rewarding and makes a difference to the quality of life for service users on a daily basis. All young people are open to the Children’s Social Care system and are therefore vulnerable. Some of them can present with challenging behaviour however the wellbeing of our Staff is priority and Management ensure there is always support available.
