An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated experienced Residential Support Worker, supporting young people with emotional, behavioural and learning needs.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is reliable and trustworthy
- Is able to take constructive criticism and willing to learn
- Is assertive and able to implement boundaries specific to the young person’s needs and company policies
- Has a current DBS (or is prepared to undertake one)
- Has training certificates (Safeguarding, First Aid, Health and Food Safety etc.) or is prepared to complete required ones before starting
- Has good communication and writing skills to work with colleagues, parents and produce clear, concise reports
Desirable Requirements:
- Full driver’s license
- Recent UK based health or social care experience
Experience of working with challenging or anti-social behaviour and de-escalation techniques (especially young people)

The position of Residential Support Worker is very rewarding and makes a difference in the quality of life for service users on a daily basis. All young people are open to the Children’s Social Care system and are therefore vulnerable. Some of them can present with challenging behaviour however the wellbeing of our staff is priority and Management ensure there is always support available.
